No child is too young to receive services from a consultant for the visually impaired. Intermediate School Districts will direct parents to programs which are age appropriate for children.

If your child has a visual acuity of less than 20/70, has a field loss, or a degenerative eye condition, you should contact your local Intermediate School District. Ask to talk to a teacher consultant for the visually impaired.
